Rumah Ozanam Klang (St. Bernadette's Home) was set up on 11th February 2008 initiated by the Society of St. Vincent De Paul. It is a home for girls aged between 4 to 12 and is under the auspices of all 3 Klang conferences and Holy Eucharist, Batang Berjuntai. It remains dependent on the Humanitarian gestures of the society and volunteers.
St. Bernadette's Home is currently home to 18 girls and 2 care-givers. They come from varied backgrounds and the majority are from single parent families. The children are provided full room and board and help out with chores. Doctors, dentists, psychologist and transportation is provided on a voluntary basis and the Home is very grateful for this.
Education is a focus of the Home and the children attend school at Methodist Girls Primary school and volunteers provide tuition classes after school.
